Russell + Mills Studios provides landscape architecture, urban design and master planning services for a variety of land-based projects. The company has experience in urban spaces, public parks and botanical gardens, community planning, resort and entertainment, national parks and campus planning. We provide a full range of services from design and conceptual programming to construction documentation and administration.
Russell + Mills Studios was started in early 2007 by the two founding partners, Craig Russell and Paul Mills. Both partners are experienced landscape architects with a combined 25 years of experience in the profession. Craig and Paul are both licensed to practice landscape architecture and are both CLARB certified.
The breadth of experience in the firm traces to the founding partners. We share a design philosophy focused on creating memorable and comfortable spaces for people, while responding to site conditions in innovative and sustainable ways. We employ a design process that involves clients and stakeholders throughout, ensuring client satisfaction.
Design accountability is an important value to both partners as well, and we take strides to ensure that the various effects of a design or planning decision are well understood by both clients and ourselves. Our complementary abilities and collaborative skills provide clients with a rare synergy that has produced several award-winning projects.
We draw upon the world-class project experience gained by both partners while working previously for international firms. With experience that spans the USA, Caribbean, Middle East and Australia the company has the capabilities to work on various project types, and sizes. Both partners are actively involved in all projects within the office and are committed to ensuring the highest quality of work and timely responses to deadlines. Paul and Craig provide personal service and a single point of contact throughout project development.
