baghdad intl. airport convention center

Russell + Mills Studios were hired to provide the site design, and documentation for a new convention center at Baghdad International Airport. An existing unused terminal was adapted to become a conference center for visiting dignitaries. The site design includes re-using existing features and supplementing it with strong landscape design elements that included signature planting, an entry sculpture and utilizing existing historic water features.

Construction documents were produced for the project for construction.
