Basketball City is a new venue proposed for an existing Pier on Manhattan's East River. Paul Mills has led the design and development of this site for over two years. Basketball City proposes to convert an empty warehouse to a basketball complex. Basketball City incorporates the first waterfront tenant on the East River as part of the East River Waterfront Study. With esplanade access and a large open entry court, the project has been slowly maneuvering through the various agency approvals needed in New York for such developments.
