beach court elementary learning landscape and playground design

Russell + Mills Studios was hired by Denver Public Schools to provide landscape architectural services in the design development, construction documentation and the construction administration of a learning landscape and playground at the existing Beach Court Elementary School. The design unifies the overall site through the use of a large play lawn as a central organizing feature. Grade challenges were resolved and walls that divided the site will be removed. The project thematically celebrates the international emphasis of the school using learning nodes of the seven continents of the world.
