Russell + Mills Studios have been hired to provide landscape architectural services for CYMS, a middle school in Casper, Wyoming. We have proposed to use the primary courtyard and adjacent areas to create a multi-use learning landscape that ties into the Wyoming Board of Education Middle School curriculum, and also provides outdoor areas for the students.
The landscape will also respond to the local conditions and use native species that can survive in the specific weather constraints of the area. The project is in the construction document phase and is expected to begin in 2009.
