elmendorf play environment
As part of the on-call contract with Denver Parks and Recreation, Russell + Mills Studios are designing a new play environment for this local park to replace an aging, outdated playground. The new play area reflects the principals of the newly completed Denver Playground Master Plan, and may incorporate the local elementary school projected learning landscape. This exciting adjacency allows for the promotion of shared play environments while retaining the educational aspects that learning landscapes have. The new play area is scheduled for construction Fall 2009.
