Russell + Mills Studios partnered with Clarion Associates to provide design services for the City of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The design team provided detailed documents for residential infill design standards.

The City of Glenwood Springs is located in a mountain valley and is constrained for developable land. Recent pressure for residential development has resulted in developments that have been unfavorable and incompatible with the town and the community. The design standards aimed to provide clear directions for future development within the city while not prescribing materials, or overly specific design direction. Russell + Mills Studios prepared typical prototypes for the city that examines a variety of possible examples.
