Russell + Mills studios provided conceptual design land planning services for this 640-acre expansion of Pelican Lake Ranch near Greeley, CO. The project program included a links-style, low-water use golf course, a small town center and a variety of neighborhoods with an emphasis on patio and townhomes, to help conserve open space.

A landscape analysis was conducted to help determine prominent views, ridgelines, steep slopes and ideal topography for the golf course. Approximately 20 natural gas wells are present on site and have been absorbed into the open-space framework in order to conceal them from views.
