Russell + Mills Studios was hired by RNL Design out of Denver to help them develop conceptual design and direction for the external site environs for a large mixed use development in Dubai. The conceptual development included visualizing the entry, main street, civic heart, and a number of main parks within the development. In our concepts we introduced the notion of using sustainable practices which promoted recycling irrigation water, laminar water features, flush curbed streets to capture the minimal runoff, the concept aimed to create a tranquil elegant place while aiming to use sustainable principals in a harsh climate.
