Russell + Mills Studios was hired by RNL Design, Denver, to assist in the development of conceptual design and proramming of the external site environs for a large mixed use development in Dubai. The conceptual development included visualizing the entrances, main street, civic heart, and a number of main parks within the development. In our concepts we introduced the notion of using sustainable practices which promoted recycling irrigation water, laminar water features, and flush curbed streets to capture the valuable storm-water runoff. The concept aimed to create a tranquil elegant place while aiming to use sustainable principals in a harsh climate.
