Russell + Mills Studios was hired to create a conceptual plan for a new park in Sheridan called South Park. The park was recently acquired by the city and lies in a flood-prone area of Little Goose Creek. Working with a public relations consultant, the designs were community-driven with two community workshops. The designs aimed to create a natural area that utilized the benefits of the site. A series of trails will bring visitors through the park, and include learning opportunities for small groups or classes. The park gives visitors access to an abundant natural area within the city limits.
