two by two animal campus

Russell + Mills Studios were hired to provide full master planning services for a new concept in learning and education located on 200+ acres in Potosi, Wisconsin. We are leading the design team in producing a campus that accommodates the concept of learning about life skills through domestic animals and wild animals and their habitats.

The campus caters to visitors, school groups, and community groups and provides for domestic animal adoption, focused learning areas for specific educational programs, and a habitat learning area. The non-profit has education accreditation for primary school age range. Through a series of interactive workshops, areas within the site were designed to be be a multifaceted learning experience. The nodes of activity were designed so various learning aspects related directly with the local school district curriculum for multiple grade levels.
